Operations/Sales Assistant - New York

Responsibilities: 

If you share a passion for delivering service and quality, and wish to work for an internationally recognized company, then AlliedPRA New York is looking for an ideal candidate. The position requires detail-oriented Operations/Sales Assistant.   In this role, you will provide administrative and support to a team of managers and contribute to the success of the New York office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Program & Sales Managers
  • Coordinating, implementing program elements and scheduling
  • Strong verbal and superior written communication skills
  • Managing related files, databases and policies
  • Answering phones and handling incoming mail
  • Work with local hotels, venue’s and restaurants securing dates/rates
  • Assisting with event planning and completing special projects
  • Support National Sales Manager, assisting with the sales and marketing efforts
  • Data entry and management of company wide database
  • Providing general office support
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines independently

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills.
  • Candidates must be able to manage time efficiently, illustrate attention to detail, accuracy and organization. Must be team oriented, interested in working in a growing and dynamic office and possess professional demeanor.
  • College degree required. Two (2) years of administrative experience are required.  Will consider a recent college graduate or a Veteran.
  • Candidates must exhibit advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
