Viva San Antonio

San Antonio first and most famous mission, the Mission San Antonio de Valero;THE ALAMO starts the tour. An Alamo-era costumed guides guest through the sacred mission as they listen to tales of the heroes of the Alamo and their fight for freedom in the Texas Revolution. No tour of historic San Antonio would be complete without a trip to El Mercado, the largest Mexican market outside of Mexico. Enjoy traditional Mexican lunch at La Margarita while at El Mercado. Shop the stalls and bodegas of El Mercado for beautiful handmade folk art, clothing, jewelry, and leather goods.

Golf With A Twist

Sporting with clay. Enjoy this test of wits, reflexes and hand-eye coordination at the National Shooting Complex. The NSC is located on the edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, encompassing a little less than 600 acres of peaceful rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Professional staffers instruct guests on safety and shooting, as well as distributing all necessary equipment. Then, the fun begins.

A Job, "Whale Done"! Team Building At Seaworld San Antonio /p>

What do employees and co-workers have in common with a five-ton killer whale? A whole lot more than you think! Whale Done, a book written by Ken Blanchard and several co-authors from SeaWorld, focuses on how whales respond best to positive reinforcement. Well, believe it or not, so do humans! Guests put on a wetsuit and limber up to get into the water with a Beluga Whale. Guests assist trainers in communicating with the animals using various hand signals and giving the animals positive reinforcement.

Boot Scootin' Good Time

Guest arrive at a real working ranch located just miles out of town. The U.S. Marshall's Posse give an official Texas Welcome, coupled with a burst of gunfire by the rowdy Gunfighters, set the mood of the Old West. Texas "long -necks" and assorted drinks are iced down and served as guests arrive to wet their whistle. Guest have the opportunity to do a lil' line dancing to a western band, or take in a professional rodeo. While feeling a little daring, grab hold of the harness and take a ride on a mechanical bull. Finally, it's chow time! Guests enjoy an old fashion Texas Barbeque and down home cobbler with vanilla ice cream, all part of the Boot Scootin evening.

Van Gogh Starry Night

Guest enter into a beautifully enchanted room with white roses adorning the tables and stage area. Tables are covered with Colbalt Bichon and White Sparkle Ovelays. Centerpieces are a beautiful work of art. White Virginia roses, accompanied by tea roses and blue limonium highlighted with asparagus greens and ruscus leaves. Emerging from the floral arrangement is a double-sided sparkling gold gilded frame in vertical position yet slightly eschew with pin lighting to highlight the romantic mood. Two projections of Van Gogh art "Starry Night". Perimeter lighting around the room sets a soft ambiance for the evening. Waiters are dressed in black and white, and themed ties. After dinner dance the night away.

LaFiesta de Bienvenidos

Guests hear the festive sounds of Mariachis and the aromas of Mexican food. The scene is a little village dressed in floral foliage, serapes, ferns, string lighting and 2 Mexican facades. Throughout the courtyard, there is color. Giant Maypoles with long streaming ribbons, tables and chairs draped with multi colored linens and chair covers, of purple, fuchsia, teal, yellow and blue and topped with festive floral arrangements. Spotlighted food stations decorated with painted Mexican pottery, bright serapes and paper flowers. The entertainment of the Flamenco girls with their high-spirited performance and the dramatic sounds of the Spanish guitaris create a fun and festive atmosphere.

Escape To The Riverwalk

Start with a visit to the unique and historic arts and crafts community with one of a kind charm, "LaVillita," the orginal downtown San Antonio. From LaVillita, guest board brightly painted river barges set for banquet-style dining. Sit back, relax and enjoy lunch on the private cruiser. Knowledgeable boat captains navigate the barges through the main channels of the beautiful San Antonio River pointing out landmarks and answering questions about San Antonio's famous Paseo Del Rio.

Magnificent Historical Missions

San Antonio's Spanish Missions are alive with history. They allow us to step back into time, to appreciate our heritage and revere those who had incredible faith and courage to come to an unsettled land and build these magnificent missions with their genius, their hands, their sweat and their wills. The Mission Trail includes Mission San Jose, (where the 18th century monks and bands of friendly Chuiltecan Indians lived), Mission San Juan,(gaze at the oldest of the missions in Texas), Mission Concepcion,and the Chapel Espada. Mission San Antonio de Valero, better known asAlamo. The San Antonio missions today represent a virtually unbroken connection with the past. Bearing the distinctive stamp of generations of Indian and Spanish craftsmen, they live still as active parishes.

A Taste Of The Arts

Guests may study works of art by Picassso, Dali, Monet and others at the McNay Museum. This jewel box museum enchants visitors with the beauty of its collected works, landscaped grounds and elegant Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The San Antonio Museum of the Arts features the European and American paintings from world-renowned as well as local artists. Was once the home of the former Lone Star Brewery, and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. For history and science under one roof, visit the Witte Museum. . Finally, the Institute of Texas Cultures features the history of 27 ethnic groups who settled in Texas. The Institute focuses on early Texas history, with the contributions added by each group of people to make Texas the great state that it is today.

Fine And Fancy In Fredericksburg

Guests feel Fine 'n' Fancy in Fredericksburg, where their tour begins atWildseed Farms. The Texas Hill Country is famous the world around for it's dazzling wildflowers. See how Texas wildflowers are grown to be harvested for seed at the largest working wildflower farm in the United States. Wander through trails ablaze with row after row of colorful blooms.. The next stop is Becker Vineyards. The vineyard consists of 36 acres fo French Vinifera grapes surrounded by fields of lavender, peach orchards and native wildflowers. Guests also participate in a tasting session, which enables them to distinguish between tastes, aromas and textures of various wines.

Treat yourself to the historic charm of Fredericksburg. The German town is steeped in history with the beautiful surroundings of the Hill Country. Visit the birthplace of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz built in 1866 of limestone construction. Continue up the street to the Nimitz Museum and the National Museum of the Pacific War.

He Shops, She Shops

Both men and women alike will enjoy this shopping excursion as our shopping shuttle drops guests at San Antonio’s newest shopping Mecca, the Shops at La Cantera and the Bass Pro Shop. With a variety of shops, boutiques and sites to see, the Shops and Bass Pro Shop are sure to fit into every shopper’s wildest dreams.

Situated on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, the Shops at La Cantera, an open-air marketplace, amazes in more ways than one. Boasting shops such as Nordstrom’s, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., Burbury, bebe, Betsey Johnson, Lucky Brand and BCBG/Max Azria it is also host to tranquil surroundings of lush greenery and soothing water, reminding its visitors that everything here is in perfect balance, just like shoppers will be.

Covering the other end of the spectrum is the Bass Pro Shop. Courting the avid outdoors person, Bass Pro Shop carries merchandise in freshwater, fly and saltwater fishing, hunting, camping, marine, electronics and a variety of apparel. Grand Hyatt San Antonio

Opening in February of 2008, the Grand Hyatt, located adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center will add 1,000 guest rooms and 79,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, while adding a new, and impressive shape to the San Antonio Skyline. The Grand Hyatt will boast an outdoor terrace, which can accommodate up to 2,500 guests, a parking garage, which will accommodate 600 vehicles. Guest rooms will have 32” LCD flat panel HDTV and the Grand Bed Luxury Sleep System.

Dinner Cruising On The Riverwalk

When San Antonians plan to dine on the river they literally mean on the river. Tonight guests have the opportunity to dine in this uniquely local style.

Guests’ dining experience will be provided by local favorite, Boudro’s, which presents a contemporary cuisine with a cutting edge. Boudro’s is an experience to savor, embracing all the flavor of San Antonio’s regional heritage with a distinctive menu of Texas and Southwestern specialties.
