PRA Destination Management San Francisco Named As a Finalist in 2006 ADME Achievement Awards
San Francisco, CA, January 19, 2007 - PRA Destination Management San Francisco has been named as a finalist in the 2006 ADME Achievement Awards in two separate categories according to Ferris Suér and Liz Watson, co-principal owners of PRA San Francisco, including Best Transportation Logistics and Best Tour Program. This is the second consecutive year PRA Destination Management San Francisco has been named a finalist for the ADME Achievement Awards, having won the transportation category award in February of 2006.
The Best Transportation Logistics category nomination was a result of the successful PRA San Francisco program Blue Shield Ignite! 2006, submitted by Suér. The goal of the program was to create a comprehensive, state-wide transportation system covering over 500 miles from nine Blue Shield offices to various theaters, schools, and built-out structures to unveil the company's new logo and branding materials. Secrecy was a matter of great importance; the presentation and its content had to be kept from the employees until the day of the announcement. The transportation system involved moving more than 4,200 employees from nine cities throughout the entire state of California including Los Angeles, Orange, Woodland Hills, San Francisco, Woodland, El Dorado Hills, Chico, Redding, and Lodi. PRA San Francisco was given a short turnaround time for the event, creating a number of workable challenges; to find multiple transportation partners during the tourism high-season in a matter of days, and the logistical challenges of the vast distance between the multiple offices. PRA San Francisco succeeded by utilizing its key contacts and relationships with its motorcoach partners, as well as working closely with the affiliated PRA franchise offices throughout the state of California.
The Best Tour Program nomination was based on the JP Morgan Chase Investment Sales Conference Tour Program, submitted by Ferris Suér. The tour program was conducted during the JP Morgan Chase annual investment sales conference. The goals for the program included offering a variety of San Francisco activities that were custom designed to fit in a specific time slot and included an upscale three-course lunch for all guests. All guests were offered a choice of six different activities each day, highlighting classic San Francisco sights with a unique PRA twist to the program. From unique hiking trails conceived specifically for the program, to exclusive agreements with private home owners, tours highlighted not only San Francisco, but also Sausalito, Tiburon and Napa Valley giving a true sense of the breadth and depth of the Bay Area. To accommodate all guests, flexibility was available for any individual changes to the tour program, which resulted in a finely-orchestrated tour scheduling and coordination.
The awards are presented by the Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME), the only professional society for destination management executives with more than 250 members in North America and the European Community. The winners will be announced during a gala banquet in February at the Westin Mission Hills Hotel in Rancho Mirage, CA. Destination management executives from around the world are expected to attend.
More than 50 entries from companies throughout North America were submitted for consideration in seven categories, including Best Innovative Events in three budget categories, Best Creative Events - Tour, Recreation and Teambuilding Program and Best Logistics/Transportation. PRA Destination Management San Francisco is a Finalist in the Best Transportation Logistics and Best Tour Program categories.

Members of the ADME Achievement Awards' judging teams will select award winners from among the Finalists. Winners will receive a crystal award in honor of their outstanding accomplishment.
