PRA DESTINATION MANAGEMENT ARIZONA'S KATE CHRISTENSEN RECEIVES MPI AWARD
 
ARIZONA, June 2009 – Kate Christensen, CMP, DMCP, was honored "Planner of the Year" for her chapter at the MPI Awards Banquet and Concert on June 11.


The following passage was read during her recognition:

"This past president has been a member of our chapter for 16 years. During that time this person has never stopped being active — attending events and meetings, international conferences, serving as a consistent sponsor, raffle donor and silent auction supporter. She does all of this while running two very successful companies. In addition, she has served as a mentor to students entering the industry with internships, hiring many of them on as full-time employees, and supports many of her staff members with attendance at our meetings and participation in our annual Summer Education Forum. She certainly sees the VALUE in what MPI has to offer. A much overdue and BIG congratulations to our Planner of the Year, Kate Christensen."
