Transportation can be Green! 

  

PRA works diligently with our local partners to reduce water usage, increase diversion rates, use the best particulate filters and use Biodiesel wherever possible. But it’s not just in the equipment – each staff member plays a part in keeping your shuttle system green. PRA trains drivers to reduce idling and turn off air-conditioning when passengers are not in the vehicle.

 

   

 

Conference Shuttle Carbon Calculator

 

PRA has developed a progressive tool to calculate the carbon footprint of each transportation program. PRA is the first DMC to offer this valuable tool as a courtesy and value-added benefit for all our transportation programs. By utilizing this calculation tool, our clients can base mark their carbon footing as it relates to all transportation and shuttle service programs in an effort to help reduce costs and manage energy consumption and emissions.

 

In addition, PRA partners with Carbonfund.org, the leading carbon offset and reduction organization. We encourage our event organizers to calculate and offset the carbon footprint of their event, individually or as a group, to bring us closer to a greener future.
